About Me

Hi, I’m Elsa, a filmmaker from St. Louis, Missouri, currently based in Cardiff, Wales, where I’m studying for a BA (Hons) in Film at the University of South Wales.My interest in film began at a young age through a love of cinema and television, but quickly grew into a fascination with how productions are made. That curiosity led me to photography and editing, where I developed my eye for visual storytelling through creating and sharing edits online, before exploring filmmaking more formally through summer programmes and video production courses.Alongside film, I’ve been a figure skater since the age of two, later working as a coach, choreographer, and professional performer. Working on ice shows and winning the 2025 Quest for Creativity taught me the value of precision, adaptability, collaboration, and creative problem-solving — skills I now bring into every film project.Since moving to Wales, I’ve worked across producing, camera, and editorial roles on student and independent productions, as well as supporting film festivals and industry events. I’m passionate about storytelling and excited to continue building my career in film production.
